Chattering Flying Squirrels - Football and Kayaking - July 25, 2016

9:30: BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! The Chattering Flying Squirrels jumped out of bed to the sound of their alarms.10:00: Fully rested from the previous days' fun, the students made their way to their breakfast groups to fuel up for the day ahead.10:40: Lessons began. Some classes discussed various topics such as: culture and government, while others focused on descriptive adjectives and conversational skills.13:00: The students made their way to Happy Hut. Some students got particularly squirrely and took two pieces of delicious tuxedo cake.14:30: Touch down! Teacher Dave led the Squirrels through a football tutorial where they learned how to throw a spiral and run plays. The campers ended the session with a friendly game of 2-hand touch.16:00: Splish splash! The Squirrels shimmied their way into the Glenmore Reservoir where they paddled their kayaks along the shoreline.18:00: Yummy in my tummy! The students enjoyed some satisfying Chinese cuisine for supper.19:30: Back at SAIT, the Squirrels enthusiastically attended their final lesson of the day.20:30: The Squirrels their natural habitat before relaxing for the rest of the night.23:00: Time for bed.
