Yelping Red Foxes - The Great Canadian Race - July 24th 2016

Today we had one of the most exciting days yet! We had a nutritious breakfast of fruit, yogurt, eggs and more in our breakfast groups. Following breakfast students headed to classes to begin their three English lessons of the day. As the anticipation of the day began to build we got into groups for The Great Calgary Race! Students eagerly got into their groups to begin a series of challenges. Each group headed straight to lunch and prepared themselves for what was to come ahead. Students competed against other groups to complete a list of tasks that took them around Calgary. This gave students the opportunity to practice their English speaking skills with the people of Calgary. The sun was shining and we all had a great time discovering all of the beautiful sights Calgary has to offer! We passed by many sights including the Calgary Tower, City Hall, the beautiful Stephan Avenue and much more!As the day winded down students met at Old Spaghetti Factory to have a delicious Italian meal composed of salad, spaghetti and dessert. Overall, everyone had an action packed day and we can’t wait to continue our adventures at Wynchemna tomorrow.[AFG_gallery id='485']
