Yelping Red Foxes - DrumHeller, DINOSAURS - July 25th, 2016
Today marked the fateful return to the land of the lost for some of the teachers. As every kid dreams of living with dinosaurs the students and teachers got the next best thing. Lunch and lessons happened. The kids packed the bus and were on their way. 150 kilometres northeast of Calgary, dinosaurs and mosquitoes awaited this bashful group. The first stop was at the historical Horseshoe Canyon. Named this way as it embodies a horseshoe when you look at it. The kids climbed up and down and all around the valleys and peaks. Watermelon was given to those who made it back.Next the kids got on the bus to The Royal Terrell Museum. The best museum in Drumheller. Here lay millions of years old fossils. The dinosaurs looked so lifelike that the kids thought they might take a bite out of them. The Tyrannosaurus rex was huge. After the museum the group went to the Drumheller aquaplex. Some students swam and others helped prepare dinner. Burgers, hot dogs, and vegetables were on the menu. The students got back on the bus and returned home looking at a double rainbow.Tim was awarded student of the day.DINOSAURS!!!![AFG_gallery id='488']https://www.flickr.com/photos/78673003@N07/28450253892/in/album-72157670804843001/https://www.flickr.com/photos/78673003@N07/28272814150/in/album-72157670804843001/
