Cunning Arctic Foxes - July 27th, 2018 - Basketball and Hockey

First Day in Canada!The day started off with us meeting out breakfast room friends and teachers. For breakfast, there was lots of choices, from fruit and yogurt to eggs and bacon and everything in between. Needless to say, it was a great start to the day.In the morning, we wrote the placement tests. As nerve-racking tests are, this one was pretty simple. Happy to say, everyone did great. After we played a bit of games and before we knew it, it was time for lunch. We gathered in a place called Happy Hut, for a delicious meal.In the afternoon, we got on the bus with hockey sticks in hand and drove to a hockey rink. Of course because the rink was outside there was no ice but that didn't stop us from playing ball hockey. For many of us it was our first time; regardless, it went great. After hockey we moved onto a more familiar game, basketball. Of course that too, was lots of fun.We had dinner at the mall and then took the bus back to the residence. Back in our apartments we got to know each other a little better by playing boardgames with our roommates and neighbours. It was some quality bonding time.Now time for BED![AFG_gallery id='805']
