Soaring Horned Owls – July 27th, 2018 – Arrivals and Introductions!

The Owls have officially arrived at Wynchemna! Today, we welcomed 14 new students into the Soaring Horned Owls camp. As the students started arriving, they participated in check-in where they received some supplies for their lessons, as well as a Wynchemna T-shirt. They also signed their quarter contracts, promising to speak English for the duration of camp!After the students who had arrived in the morning had a filling hot lunch, they went to play some games with their teachers, Arron and Sam. They got to know each others names, and also played games like Ping Pong and Foosball! As students arrived in the afternoon, they were taken over to the outdoor fields to play some sports.Following sports, they had dinner, and then played a fun game of get-to-know you Bingo where they learned lots about each other! Alessandro completed Bingo the fastest, and was declared the winner!After Bingo, Arron and Sam went over some rules, before the students were given some wifi time to contact their parents.We had a great day today, and cannot wait for a full day tomorrow![AFG_gallery id='806']
