And the journey continues if it doesn’t ‘truly’ begin today with the arrival of almost 40 new students from all across the world! Taiwan, Spain, Vietnam, Italy, France, … even from Canada itself! Once everyone was settled in their rooms, we went outside and had lots of fun playing many games under the sun. After that, we went to Riley Park to play soccer, ultimate frisbee, and Mike’s famous ‘elephant game.’We then had a delicious dinner: subway sandwiches, pasta salad, nachos, veggies, fruits, … it was a real feast! We finished the day with a fun Personality Bingo game, where everyone got to ask questions and learn about their new friends.After a long day for the jet lagged, but a short day full of activities here in Calgary, we finally went to bed for a well-deserved rest as the sun went down over the SAIT Residence.[AFG_gallery id='388']
