Hooting Snowy Owls/Hissing Prairie Rattlesnakes - MOVIE NIGHT! - June 30, 2016

Our plans of hiking up the beautiful trails of Banff were halted by a sudden thunderstorm that struck Calgary and the surrounding areas. This lead to the sudden change, hiking was replaced with fabulous lessons and a trip to the movie theatre.Students were offered three choices: "Eye in the Sky," "Kung Fu Panda 3," and "Zootopia." Each student got to take their pick and filed into their respective theatre with bubbling enthusiasm. The movies were awesome!After the movie, we quickly loaded into the party bus and drove to Swiss Chalet to sink our teeth into delicious chicken, mashed potatoes, and salad...and wonderful stir fry for the vegetarians. Students sat with new people and got a chance to mingle with other members of the camp. Upon leaving the restaurant, the students were graced with a beautiful Canadian sunset and did not pass up the opportunity to take pictures!Although there were storms in the morning, the day ended with smiles, laughter, and a beautiful sky.[AFG_gallery id='392']
