July 28th, 2016 - Golf, Rock climbing, Hockey! - Brooding Whooping Cranes

Children and parents alike woke up to the smell of eggs, bacon, toast, and waffles that the teachers had prepared. After a delicious breakfast and scintillating conversation, everyone loaded into the party bus to head out on the days adventures. The first stop was golf, where everyone tried their hand at hitting the ball the furthest: Big Jerry, Peter, Steve, and Angel won!!From golf, we travelled to try our hand at rock climbing. Fears were conquered as everyone pushed themselves as high as they could up the rock climbing wall.After a quick lunch, everyone journeyed through SAIT to the hockey rink to learn Canada's favourite pastime - HOCKEY!! Parents and kids slid around on the ice and played two intense games. Our rink time ended with a massive game: third floor vs seventh floor. The game ended 1 vs. 1. Straight from hockey, everyone walked over to the local mall to enjoy a delicious meal of pizza, pasta, salad, and fries.Although a little sleepy, everyone gathered in the seventh floor common room to listen to an improv instructor give a hilarious lesson in how to act, and take risks...even when mistakes are made.After a lot of laughter and fun, the day ended. Everyone drifted off to their rooms, excited for another day to start.[AFG_gallery id='496']
