Paddling River Otters - July 8th, 2018 - Stampede Day

Excited for the upcoming day, we woke up extra early, downed our breakfast and took of for an eventful day at Calgary Stampede.With our cowboy hats and boots on, we marched onto the Stampede grounds. We were eager to try all the rides. As we went from one ride to another the fun didn't stop. Among the favourites were the spinning swings, the drop and the superman ride.For lunch, we got some hotdogs which filled us with enough energy to keep Stampeding. We went on a few more rides as well as playing some games. The lucky few claimed some prizes even. There were other things to see too; lots of food to try and all kinds of exhibitions cowboy related exhibitions.Unfortunately, the time at Stampede seemed to fly, as time for dinner came around. After a delicious, chicken dinner we went back to the residence. In the evening we started planning our international supper dishes. After the final preparations for the supper it was time to rest before another exciting day tomorrow at West Edmonton Mall.[AFG_gallery id='763']
