Singing Water Loons - July 29, 2017 - Ice Skating and Loose Moose
The Singing Water Loons were off to a bright and early start this morning, with a 10 a.m. breakfast of the usual but always delicious eggs, bacon, cereal, waffles, fruit and yogurt. Following this, the students had their English lessons. Next, Happy Hut provided everyone with a scrumptious lunch consisting of: fish, vegetables, assortment of cheese and crackers, and kale salad. After lunch, the Loons headed Olympic Oval at the University of Calgary. Students tied on their skates eagerly and for many it was their first time stepping on ice with skates. We skated, we glided, we fell, we got back up and soared even faster and harder. It was finally time for Loose Moose! While watching the improv actors, the room filled with laughter and joy. It was an amazing showcase, as it showed the students great Canadian talent while building on their English skills. Next the students hurried to bed with dreams of what exciting adventures tomorrow will bring.[AFG_gallery id='681']
