Soaring Monarch Butterflies - July 11, 2017 - Ice Hockey and Squash

Today was a rainy day here at Wynchemna but we still had fun!The day started with lessons on sports, music and the dinosaur museum in Drumheller. After our classes, we went sightseeing and walked to the mall for lunch. There we enjoyed a variety of Italian food. We are different types of pizzas, salads, chicken and fries. After a hearty meal, we went to go play racquetball. We had so much fun learning the rules and testing our new skills with our friends and teachers. Straight from there, we went to go play hockey. We did drills, puck handling and finally got a chance to play a real Canadian hockey game. We took lots of pictures and were way better at being on ice then the first time. We then had a very yummy supper at Boston Pizza, a favourite Canadian restaurant!When we got back home we were told that tomorrow we will be going to Stampede, a famous festival in Calgary that has rodeo, carnival rides, candy and cowboys!
