Another great day full of laughter and learning at Wynchemna! Today we woke up at 10 and had our usual morning cornucopia of fruit, waffles, maple syrup, cereal coupled with some fun English lessons to start the day off running! Our famous chef Meagan’s lunch at Happy Hut was delicious as usual, it featured macaroni pasta, beef stir-fry and steamed vegetables along with all the sides like a selection of gourmet cheeses, fruits, veggies and even chicken nuggets!Since camping is only a few days away, we had some fun getting prepared for our adventure, we rolled up our sleeping bags, liners, and foamies as well as learn how to put up and take down a tent from our resident camping expert and excellent teacher Lucas! With everyone outside and full of energy after putting away the tents we thought to ourselves, why not have some more fun. So off we went, tent groups faced off against each other in tug of war, the sponge race, dizzy bat, and water balloon evasion, cheers and laughter filled the SAIT field as water balloons rained from the sky, even some of the teachers couldn’t stay dry! After putting on our team t-shirts, presented our posters, and performed our song and dance it was a fierce competition and the judges (teachers) were really tough but in the end everyone did an amazing job.We finished off the day with a visit the famous Denny’s fine dinning restaurant, and then got to go back for another dose of laughter from Canada’s famous loose moose improv show.[AFG_gallery id='809']
