Baseball, Denny's and Loose Moose!

Another fantastic day at Wynchemna! The students started the day with a late breakfast and then a couple of amazing lessons. Students learned about memes, advertisements, and West Edmonton Mall. After a delicious lunch, students spent some time practising for the talent show which is coming up in a few days. Some groups are going to sing, some others are going to dance, and one group is even doing a magic show!

After practicing for the talent show, we went to Heritage Park to play some baseball and field games. Everyone had a blast learning how to throw the ball, and also how to swing with a bat. After spending some time learning the game, we played a full match! We also played capture the flag and other games in a nearby park.

For supper, we went to Denny’s to try some authentic Canadian food. Students got to try chicken burgers, potato skillets, and avocado salads. After enjoying some tasty food, students went back to SAIT to finish off the day with one more lesson and an improv workshop from Loose Moose. Finally, students went to bed to get ready for another amazing day at Wynchemna.
