New Friends, Laundry Day, and Exploring Downtown Calgary!

At Wynchemna we had another fantastic day of learning and fun! The students began their Wednesday making breakfast with their teachers. They had a wonderful time in their lessons learning about directions, body language, homophones, and solving word problems.

After lessons, they had an exquisite meal in the cafeteria with the choice of lamb, beef curry, and duck. Following our meal, students began making their journey down to the laundry room to complete a load of laundry. They worked together to sort their clothes, load the washers, and dry their clothes. Great teamwork Bobcats!

For our afternoon, the Bobcats headed downtown to explore the mall, the Peace Bridge, the library, City Hall and Prince Island Park. We were thrilled to welcome some new students from Spain, Germany, France, and Mexico this afternoon! When we returned from our adventure, we enjoyed a Boston Pizza feast and played a variety of thrilling games with our new students. Such a fun-filled day!

We can’t wait to begin our new lesson and breakfast groups tomorrow and bond as a group!
