Hooting Snowy Owls / Hissing Prairie Rattlesnakes - Paper Clip Game and Improv Night at Loose Moose - July 2, 2016

After a breakfast of eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, and toast, the students left to broaden their minds with their morning lessons. Following their second lesson, they took a break to fill their stomachs with delicious food served to them by two lovely volunteers: Moiz and Greg.The sense of building excitement was palpable as the time neared 4pm, when they would play the paper clip game. The students got a chance to practice their conversational English face to face with a wide range of Calgarians. They started off with a paper clip and slowly traded up for better items. They ended the game with: a collection Barbie, several books, a handmade ceramic pig, and candles...to just name a few.After galavanting around Calgary and eating dinner at Denny's, the students gathered into the party bus and drove to a local improv theatre called "Loose Moose." The students found their seats and watched a collection of performances.Two hours of laughter passed and the students travelled back to SAIT to prepare themselves for their hike tomorrow![AFG_gallery id='394']
