Gnawing River Beavers - July 6, 2017 - The Great Canadian Race!

This morning started with a hearty breakfast! Everyone bonding over how much we enjoyed our eggs and bacon. After our tummies were full we headed to our classrooms to learn the beautiful language of English! After our three lessons with our wonderful teachers we headed to happy hut to have a healthy and nutritious lunch. After lunch we headed downtown for The Great Canadian Race!All the students divided into teams and headed out to explore Calgary! The race was an exciting scavenger hunt downtown, they needed to find different locations as well as talk to strangers finding out new things about them. Although the teachers were along for the adventure the students were totally in charge of figuring out where they needed to go, if they had any questions they needed to ask the kind Calgarians for directions! They all got to discover so much of Calgary and had a fun time doing it! They even got to ride the train for the first time!When we were all done our scavenger hunts, we all headed out to The Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner. The students were so excited to eat after their long day of discovering Calgary. We went to bed excited to dream about our activities tomorrow!We can't wait for our adventures at Wynchemna![AFG_gallery id='580']
